Registration Eligibility

Retailers: To qualify as a retail attendee, individuals must be employed directly by a retail company (not as a consultant or contractor). A retail company is defined by RILA as a company whose core business is selling its inventory of consumer products directly to end consumers.

Consumer Product Manufacturers: To qualify as a consumer product manufacturer attendee, individuals must be employed directly by a consumer goods company (not as a consultant or contractor). A consumer goods company is defined by RILA as a company whose core business is selling consumer products that it manufactures to retailers for resale to end consumers. Companies that sell products to retailers for use in the business (e.g. security cameras, POS systems, or other products intended for use in the store, DC, HQ, or other locations) do not qualify as consumer product manufacturers for RILA purposes.

Service Providers: Service providers are the companies that provide goods or services to the retail industry for use by the company, their stores, or their distribution centers. Individuals from service supplier companies must contract (as either an exhibitor, sponsor, or attend only participant) in order to attend the conference. What if I don't have a log-in account?
You can create a log-in account here. On the "Create Your Account" form, you must provide your corporate email address. You will not be able to access registration using a private/personal account (i.e. gmail, yahoo, aol).

What if I don't remember my username and password?
If you already have an account, but can't remember your password, click here to reset it. Your username should be your corporate email address. On the forgot password page, provide your corporate email address. If we have an account for you, we will send you a link to create a new password. If you do not receive an email from us, please create an account or contact Annie Buckalew for assistance.

What browser should I use?
The online registration system supports the most recent, stable versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari (version 5 and up), and Opera. To avoid errors while registering, please refrain from using Internet Explorer, as it is no longer supported by our online registration system.

How will I know if I am registered?
All registrations will be confirmed, in writing, via e-mail.

How do I cancel my registration (applies to retailers and product manufacturers only)?
If you register but can no longer join us, cancel by December 14, 2018 for a 90% refund. From December 15 until January 11, 2019, you’ll get a 50% refund. Cancellations received on January 12, 2019 or later are non-refundable, but you can transfer your registration to a colleague from your company at any time, with no fee. You can transfer or request a cancellation online. Log-in with your RILA.org account and click the "Manage Registration" tab. From there, you can request a cancel or transfer your registration to anyone from your company. Email Annie Buckalew for help. All refund requests must be in writing. Email Amanda Shapiro to request a refund. Applicable refunds will be refunded to the credit card(s) used. If a credit card was not used, RILA will issue a single refund check made out to the company.

As a non-retailer (service/solution provider) how do I register for the Attend Only option?
By purchasing an Attend Only registration ($3,000), your executive will receive access to the full event, including sessions and the exhibit hall, without the need to sponsor or exhibit. Please note that space is limited and pre-approval is required - contact Somer Flanagan to take advantage of this opportunity.
